The History of the Supper Club

go The first supper club in the United States was established around the 1920’s in Beverly Hills, California, by a Milwaukee, Wisconsin native, Lawrence Frank. Supper clubs became popular during the 1930s and 1940s, when dining out meant an evening of drinks, music and fine food shared with friends and future friends in a relaxed atmosphere.

Today, many of the supper clubs are now your traditional restaurants. You arrive, you dine and you leave…missing the opportunity to experience a new location, meet a new friend or experience a new flavor.
